Keywords:
Physical development, anthropometric parameters, girls, rhythmic gymnasticsAbstract
The aim of the study was to examine and compare the characteristics of the anthropometric parameters of body parts of gymnasts engaged in rhythmic gymnastics. As a control group, we used indicators for the physical development of girls who do not participate in appropriate sports Age. The study was carried out on 60 girls who did gymnastics and 60 girls who did not do sports. It has been found that girls doing rhythmic gymnastics lag behind their non-athletic counterparts in terms of body mass and height. In contrast, the upper limbs and lower limb length are longer in gymnastics girls. Such a body composition of gymnasts depends on the frequency of training weight, taking into account the requirements of gymnastics exercises.
