PROFESSIONAL LINGUISTICS AS AN ADVANCED APPROACH TO TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract

The article presents the theoretical foundations for the development of a new approach in the Uzbek and international methodology of teaching foreign languages ??(FLT), that is, professional linguodidactics (PLD). The authors point to research findings from the comparative analysis of FLT approaches such as English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), where a clear separation between them helps to better understand PLD. Methodologically, the study was organized in four stages.
